Intelligent Perturb and Observe Based MPPT Approach Using Multilevel DC-DC Converter to Improve PV Production System

چکیده

In this paper, an optimized maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control for a standalone photovoltaic (PV) system using three-level boost (TLB) converter is introduced. The proposed MPPT method based on intelligent perturb and observe algorithm the artificial neural network (ANN-P&O) to reduce oscillations at (MPP). advance, ANN provides values of voltage current MPP any solar irradiance cell temperature. Based provided current, P&O generates optimal duty cycle TLB perfectly track PV generator different temperature sunlight irradiance. Besides, proportional-integral (PI) controller added ensure capacitor balance. established ANN-P&O approach validated in Matlab/Simulink compared conventional under various scenarios: (i) variations, (ii) (iii) load variations.
